Dina Salha

Dina Salha who holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from the School of Journalism and Communication at Carleton University and is writing her doctoral dissertation there, is no stranger to Mass Comm students, having taught 11 courses since 1999.

A former policy analyst for the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council, Dina has also taught a dozen of courses at the University of Ottawa's communication department.

Her dissertation research re-examines the scholarly work of Daniel Lerner, the one-time Middle East analyst. Her other interests include popular culture, youth and the media, and culture and communication thought.

While in Rwanda, Dina will teach courses on propaganda and advertising.
