Izabel Barsive

Izabel Barsive is a highly-acclaimed producer, director and visual artist with numerous videos to her credit and a well appreciated photographic work.

She has produced several television documentaries, video magazines and experimental videos since 1998, for various Canadian broadcasters and organizations.

Her career began as a reporter for Radio-Canada, where she produced news reports and radio documentaries for Canada’s public broadcaster.

She has also worked for the French-language public educational television network in Ontario, TFO, participating in their flagship public affairs program, Panorama and the cultural show, Ô Zone.

She is also communications advisor who teaches video production at the University of Ottawa and holds degrees in occupational therapy and a journalism from l'Université de Montréal.

Izabel Barsive is working currently on several projects as an independant filmmaker and producer and as well as an art educator.
