Brian's blog

Brian Jackson

Brian has lived Aurora, Ont. — north of Toronto — since the age of seven.

He recently completed his graduating year at Carleton University in the Bachelor of Journalism program with a double major in Mass Communications.

Brian has been actively involved with student press during his time at Carleton.

For the last two years, he’s been the managing editor of The Resin, the residence student newspaper. Brian has also written for the National Research Council, the Ottawa Sun, and for his hometown community newspaper, The Era Banner. He’s had letters printed in The Toronto Star and The Ottawa Citizen.

Brian spends his summers working at a youth day camp. For the last two years he was a canoe instructor there. He has also led canoe trips through the Muskoka area, the Spanish River and the French River.

Brian is an avid Batman fan, and his other hobbies include camping, photography, and jogging.
